Crowns and Bridges
Dental Crown
If you crack or chip a tooth beyond repair, a dental crown can be made to replace that part of your tooth. As long as the root is still viable, a dental crown made of porcelain can be shaped to match your other teeth. At the same time, that porcelain can be matched to the color of your other teeth so that the dental crown will be virtually unnoticeable by others. Only you and Dr. Li will know it's there!
Dental Bridges
If you have more than one tooth missing, a dental bridge may be used to replace those teeth and restore your beautiful smile. If a missing tooth or teeth are not replaced, it may lead to issues with your bite or change the shape of your face. Another risk is the movement of your other teeth into that space which can cause additional problems. Dental bridges can be a great solution to one or a few missing teeth.
Dental bridges generally take more than one visit, since you will need to be measured for dental crowns to fit onto your bridge. Dr. Li is very particular when it comes to fitting dental bridges, and if you need to have several adjustments before your bridge is fitted correctly, Dr. Li will take the time to make sure your bridge is perfectly fitted for you.
